We start our journey with a short flight to Dallas and an overnight at the Hyatt Grand located at the airport. Normally this wouldn't be anything to write about but the hotel experience deserves mentioning. This hotel is actually at one of the airport terminals, you don't have to leave the airport. It's almost like checking in at one of the airlines. After we check in, we get them to give us a pass to go back through security so we can eat dinner at the Centurian Lounge. It's a very strange feeling to be wandering around the airport when you aren't actually traveling anywhere. No luggage, no searching for your gate, no hurry. So we ate dinner at the lounge, which I might add is one of the best lounge experiences ever, and then go back to our room. The room is very high tech with everything automated (the lights, curtains, TV, sound system). The bathroom is wonderful and anyone that has ever traveled with me knows that I love a good hotel bathroom! It is the best airport hotel we have ever experienced. And to add to that experience, in the morning when we check out we only have to go down the escalator and we check in for our flight and go through security....very convenient.
